Deciduous small tree or shrub. Height: 4 to 15 feet. Width: 4 to 12 feet. It does well in a broad range of areas, from lawns, and ponds to meadows and woodlands. Include it in edible, native, pollinator, or drought-tolerant gardens as an accent plant, shade tree, or screening hedge. Ripe fruit can be eaten fresh or used in jams, jellies and pies. Excellent wildlife plants attractive to pollinators, birds and other animals.
