Quaking aspens, also known as trembling aspens, regularly grow in dense, pure stands. The white bark is the most commonly known characteristic. This bark provides for deer and other animals throughout the entire year. Quaking aspen can be used for fuel and to make paper, particle board, and furniture. They usually are less than 50 feet tall.
