Summer Field Day- Soil Structure
Jul 13 @ 9:30 am – 2:30 pm

Come and learn what conservation practices area farmers are implementing in order to improve and maintain their soil structure.  Sand, silt and clay particles are the foundational building blocks of soil.  Good soil structure is critical for infiltrating water, plant root development, erosion resistance along with other processes.  See what good soil structure looks like and how to improve your land. Meetings are held monthly on the first Thursday of the month, after the first Wednesday. They are open to the public. They start at 9:30am except during winter months, then they start at 10:00am.
